Embassy™ Exclusive
C121ALBK
$319.95 MSRP
This version was offered exclusively by BladeOps in December 2018. For more information please visit BladeOps.com.
Originally introduced in 2008, the Embassy was one of Spyderco’s very first automatic knives. Its handle is meticulously machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and cloaked in Type III hard anodizing. Textured black G-10 inlays on both sides of the handle complement its advanced ergonomics to ensure a positive grip in even the most demanding conditions. A three-position pocket clip supports right-side tip-down carry and ambidextrous tip-up carry to keep the knife instantly accessible and ready when you are.
The Embassy's firing button is located in a recessed well and does double duty as the knife's lock mechanism. It is backed by a sliding secondary safety that locks the button in both the open and closed positions to prevent unintentional firing or lock release. The safety is specifically designed to ride slightly proud of the handle, making it easy to index and disengage by tactile sense, even while wearing gloves.
The defining feature of this Exclusive expression of the Embassy is its blade, which is crafted from CPM® S35VN™. Its advanced alloy composition is specially formulated to promote the formation of niobium carbides along with vanadium and chromium carbides, making it about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. This knife's saber-ground PlainEdge™ blade also has a unique profile that offers an outstanding balance of point strength, utility, and safety.
A truly unique expression of one of Spyderco's most dynamic models, this Exclusive Embassy is sure to become a coveted collector's item.
