The Bear Bowie #12-8 features an 8" blade of 1/4" stock with the top cutting edge sharpened approximately 5 1/4". The knife includes a brass double forward curved hilt, leather commando-shaped handle and Duralumin butt cap. Approximate weight is 14-16 ounces. The Bear Bowie was designed on special order for a big game sportsman who planned to use it for hunting.
